Account Deletion for PicTour Ljubljana

This page explains how users of PicTour Ljubljana can delete their account and associated data.

Delete your account or data inside the app

Users can delete their account directly inside the PicTour Ljubljana app. To do this, open the app, tap the user account icon, and select the account deletion option.

Users can also delete individual photos or all photos from their journal inside the app without deleting their account.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by sending an email to:

Please use the subject line: PicTour Ljubljana account deletion request

In your message, please include the email address associated with your PicTour Ljubljana account so that we can identify the account to be deleted.

Data that will be deleted

When your PicTour Ljubljana account is deleted, the following associated data is deleted:

• account profile and authentication-related account data;
• photos stored in Firebase Storage;
• journal entries stored in Firestore;
• saved captions or journal-related content, where applicable;
• other account-related data associated with your PicTour Ljubljana account.

Data that is not stored as persistent account data

User questions are processed to generate responses but are not stored as chat history. Location data is used temporarily and is not stored in Firebase or attached to journal entries or photos.

Data that may be retained

Some limited data may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or operational reasons. Analytics data may also be retained according to Firebase/Google retention settings.

Processing time

We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable time after verifying the request.
