Journal content

The app creates a personal photo journal based on the user's use of the app. Journal entries may include photos, recognized landmarks, generated stories and related app content. Journal entries are stored in Firebase/Firestore and Firebase Storage so that the user can access them while using the app.

Location data

With the user's permission, the app may access precise location data. Location data is used to support landmark recognition, map functionality, nearby recommendations and improving the relevance of the city discovery experience. Location data is used temporarily for these functions. It is not stored in Firebase and is not attached to journal entries or photos.

User questions are not stored in Firestore as chat history. The current version of the app does not allow users to edit captions, and edited captions are not stored.
